There are several rules for different categories: You do NOT need a permission from: - depended children (under 18 years old), - adult children if they are still financially dependent reliant on you, - committed partner who resides with you (whether you are married or not). You DO need a permission from: - ex-partner (even if still legally married or share children with them), - boyfriend/girlfriend who doesn't live with you, - child older than 18 ears old, - friend - relative - business partner or co-worker.
